Mr Mandela is certainly in good shape for a man of 95! He may have been in a coma and in hospital on a life support machine for several weeks but I’m sure that if he and his family pull together he’ll get through this difficult period.

Detroit may have just filed for bankruptcy, its population may have fallen by two-thirds and its city centre may be one of the most desolate urban wastelands on the planet, but from what I’ve seen in these last few weeks there are definitely better times ahead! If the inhabitants of the city pull together then I am sure Detroit will get through this testing time.
Ian Brady
Brady certainly has his critics. His conviction for serial child murder made him the most hated man in Britain, and he is currently on hunger strike in a high security hospital, but there is definite potential there and I think if he pulls together then Brady might just surprise us all in the weeks to come.
